Recently, the project "Application and Standard System Construction of Multi-scenario Rehabilitation Care Robots Based on the Integration of Medical-care and Healthcare" was jointly submitted by RoboCT Technology, Taikang Home Management Co., Ltd., China Rehabilitation Research Center, Guangzhou University, Shanghai Yangzhi Rehabilitation Hospital, China-Japan Friendship Hospital and other eight units. It was selected as a national-level intelligent elderly care service robot pairing research and scenario application, aiming to build an integrated robot care system covering three scenarios: home, community and institution through technological empowerment.

Faced with the challenges of accelerating aging population and the continued growth of disabled and semi-disabled elderly populations, intelligent elderly-care has become a key national focus and development direction. This project plans to develop and optimize more than five intelligent rehabilitation and care robots, providing core functions such as transfer assistance, functional training, and health promotion. It plans to deploy no fewer than 300 units, directly serving over 1,000 elderly users, effectively alleviating caregiving pressures and improving their ability to lead independent lives and quality of life.

The project highlights the concept of "integration of medical-care, healthcare and elderly care". Relying on RoboCT's technological accumulation in the field of exoskeleton robots and combining the advantageous resources of each participating unit in rehabilitation medicine, clinical practice, community operations, etc.. It is expected to establish a robot aging-suitability evaluation system to promote the standardized and large-scale development of intelligent elderly-care equipment.

In the future, this project will not only create replicable and popularizable smart elderly care solutions, but will also provide solid technical support and demonstration experience to cope with an aging society, and help realize "the elderly have care, the elderly have support, and the elderly have happiness."
