From the 21st to the 22nd, the 2024 7th DMD International Doctor-Patient Exchange Conference and DMD New Technology Innovation Forum were held in Beijing. Hundreds of patient families and experts gathered together to discuss DMD rehabilitation and treatment. As a company representative, RoboCT Technology participated in the first-day DMD Health Management Forum and shared the application of children's exoskeleton.
With the United Nations officially designating September 7th every year as "DMD World Awareness Day", global attention is focusing on this rare and resilient group with unprecedented attention. At this conference, experts not only shared the latest research results in the field of DMD, but also deeply discussed how to integrate medical, rehabilitation, psychological and social resources through interdisciplinary cooperation to provide patients with more comprehensive support.
Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a common type of progressive muscular dystrophy and one of the common genetic diseases in children. At present, DMD diagnostic methods have become more popular in China. In addition, more and more attention is paid to DMD science education, and the phenomenon of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis has been greatly improved. After children with DMD are diagnosed, early intervention can delay the progression of the disease.
RoboCT's KidGo exoskeleton has a positive effect on children's lower-limb intervention and rehabilitation. The product design takes into account children's experience and psychological needs. Through this forum, RoboCT not only had in-depth conversations with the participating medical experts, but also fully communicated with patients and their families, listening to them express their needs and feelings. Experts recognized the innovation of lower-limb rehabilitation exoskeleton technology and discussed its potential in clinical applications.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, RoboCT hopes to discuss the future development of the field of DMD health management with colleagues in the industry, and promote the popularization of knowledge, technological innovation and widespread application of DMD health management. We look forward to providing more comprehensive and accurate health management services to DMD patients through these cooperations.
