On December 27th, the award ceremony of 2024 “Getting Better” International Design Competition, jointly organized by CCTV Guangdong and Shenzhen Industrial Design Industry Association, was held in Shenzhen. The award ceremony unveiled the award-winning works, RoboCT Technology's URA bedside rehab exoskeleton was awarded the Product Masterpiece Award.

The “Getting Better” International Design Competition was launched on May 21, 2024, with a total of 7,183 design entries from 52 countries and regions around the world. HU Jinjun, Vice Director of CCTV, and WANG Sheng, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, attended the award presentation ceremony and delivered speeches. Focusing on national key projects, strategic industries and other key areas, the competition aims to build an industrial design evaluation system, to contribute Chinese design wisdom to the world's advanced manufacturing industry.

The winning works of the competition not only represent the high level of Chinese design, but also reflect the far-reaching significance of the competition in promoting the integration of industrial design with key national strategies. RoboCT Technology's URA serie of bedside rehab exoskeleton highlights the potential of industrial design in the field of rehabilitation and aging, integrating exoskeleton robotics into lower limb joint replacement rehabilitation, seated and prone lower-limb rehabilitation; at the same time, it also provides a new way of thinking in healthcare and rehabilitation industry.
