RoboCT's Exoskeleton Contributes to the Development of Services for the Disabled in China

From October 28th to 29th, the 17th China Disabled Persons Development Forum was held in Hangzhou. The forum was co-sponsored by the China Disabled Persons' Federation, Zhejiang University, and the Disabled Persons Development Research Association, conducting in-depth discussions on the theme of "Promoting the Development of Services for the Disabled in China".
On the 28th, at the symposium on "High Technology Empowering Disabled Persons", Li Dongsheng, director of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and director of the Planning and Finance Department, delivered a speech. Li Xiaoyong, a professor at Capital Medical University, Dong Liquan, deputy director researcher of the China Center for Assistive Devices for the Disabled, and Liang Songying, chairman of the District Disabled Persons' Federation of Yuhang District, delivered speeches as guests. Dr. Wang Tian, founder and CEO of RoboCT Technology, made an exchange speech as a company representative and exchanged his views.
RoboCT has been leveraging its advantages in high-tech products and services to continuously explore the cooperative development of disability assistance, communicate with domestic Disabled Persons' Federation organizations at all levels, and help promote technological rehabilitation. At the same time, RoboCT actively participates in the development of industry-university-research cooperation between government organizations, universities, scientific research units and medical institutions, assists in the training of rehabilitation and elderly care talents, establishes intelligent rehabilitation scholarships, and organizes rehabilitation exoskeleton experience activities.
At the recently concluded 4th Asian Paralympic Games in Hangzhou, Dr. Wang Tian, founder and CEO of RoboCT Technology, and Li Panpan, Chinese Winter Paralympic athlete and product experiencer of RoboCT exoskeleton, participated in the torch relay as torchbearers; Besides, RoboCT's Assistive Exoskeletons have appeared at Jiande's and Fuyang's relay. More importantly, RoboCT’s rehabilitation exoskeleton have received positive feedbacks from athletes and staff of the Asian Paralympic Games from more than 20 countries and regions in the Asian Games Village rehabilitation assistive device experience area.
On the afternoon of the 29th, a team led by Li Dongsheng, director of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and director of the Planning and Finance Department, visited the RoboCT's Intelligent Rehabilitation Center to experience exoskeleton products. In the intelligent rehabilitation center, the group had an in-depth understanding of RoboCT’s innovation and R&D achievements in the field of exoskeletons.
Dr. Wang Tian expressed RoboCT's vision of providing better assistive equipment and rehabilitation services to disabled people, and bringing more convenience and well-being to disabled people. Li Dongsheng expressed her appreciation for the efforts and achievements of RoboCT and said that the China Disabled Persons' Federation attaches great importance to the rehabilitation of disabled people and has been looking for advanced technologies and solutions that can effectively help disabled people to take care of themselves and return to society. RoboCT's exoskeleton products have high practicality and potential, and are of great significance in helping disabled people carry out rehabilitation training and enhance their ability to take care of themselves.
The research visit not only deepened the understanding and cooperation between the China Disabled Persons' Federation and RoboCT Technology, but also allowed more people to understand the needs of disabled people and RoboCT's products and services. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both parties, more opportunities and hope will be brought to the rehabilitation and social integration of disabled people.
